5 Advantages of Using a Rechargeable Camping Lantern

Posted by Filed Under Featured, Rechargeable Camping Lantern with No Comments

Camping lanterns are an absolute necessity when you go on a camping trip. Most camping enthusiasts would advise to always bring one because you will never know when you would need a light. If you are camping with kids, life will be a whole lot easier when you have a camping lantern to guide you and light your way. With so many types of camping lanterns available, the most recommended is the rechargeable camping lantern because of the following advantages:

Safer-  it is safer to use a rechargeable type of camping lantern than kerosene powered lanterns because you don’t have to use a lantern that has flames which could cause a fire.

Wind resistant- most flamed powered lanterns are not wind resistant and the light would die if it is windy.

Economical- since it is rechargeable; you don’t have to keep on buying batteries or gas to keep it working. In the long run, a rechargeable camping lantern is more economical as you only have to purchase it and not be bothered by spare batteries, kerosene, propane gas and other types of sources of power for the lantern.

User-friendly- most units are super easy to use. All you have to do is switch it on and you now have a light. No need to light candles or gas up the lantern just to get a light.

Lightweight- as compared to lanterns that are made of glass, rechargeable camping lantern is much lighter and portable.  This makes it easier to transport so that even kids can carry it around while camping.

Illness After Camping: Numbness, Sore Throat, Light Headed?

Posted by Filed Under Rechargeable Camping Lantern with 1 Comment

Went camping thurs-sunday. Got bitten maybe 5-6 times total by bugs as i wore alot of bug repellant.

Mid tuesday, about 1 hour after I ate my lunch at the office (I’ve had the same type of meal each day for almost a month and no side effects up until now), my throat became almost INSTANTLY sore. Later on in the day I had periods of moderate light headedness.

While spending the evening with my GF I found I had little to no energy. Walking around became a bit of a chore.

I have moments of mild numbness. Not to the extent where I can’t feel anything. I just have these feelings of not feeling like I’m awake. Everything sort of blurs at times, just a bit, and I get this sensation of having no thoughts in my head aside from the thought of being numb. Its not to intense, and usually fades away into more light headedness.

Mild diarrhea.
No headaches.
Little to no body aches.

Help please? Thanks.

What Camping gear to bring on your trip outdoors?

Camping equipment and supplies covered all the elements necessary for a camping trip complete. This covers all types of campgrounds you bag backpack camping campground of the motorcycle and beyond.

Don’t forget, the outdoor is a home. Articles as a first aid kit, lanterns in the open air, sleeping and cooking camp equipment bags can be very useful, but can easily be neglected. These elements can serve many especially when the family is involved.

Comfort of sleep and other Camp

Sleeping bag, plus some other “comfort” that can be added to the configuration of base camp. In recent years, there are dozens of varieties of camping heaters, camping tables and other comforts of home to consider. It is to make the right choice for camping, your family or a group plan, do not have to take advantage of a situation you were not planning.

Some other essential elements

This list is extremely important, especially when planning a family camping trip. Occupational health and safety are not high on list of anyone until it is necessary. Let’s just get down to brass tacks. A camping toilet is an element that you want to you when the time comes and there are a few ways very cheap to meet this need. A shower of camping is very convenient especially if the activities of the day are fierce as hiking or climbing.

The most important thing of your camping equipment supplies to any location of camping or backpack, is the first aid kit. An unexpected fall in unknown territory can be real difficulty unless first aid camping Kit was packaged with the rest of the train. Depending on the type of camping permits the first aid kit be customized to deal with any possible emergency.

Outdoor lanterns

This necessary piece of camping equipment is in a class all its own. A flashlight might be acceptable if you are hiking by yourself, but at a camping site, a good Lantern outdoor is almost mandatory. With today’s technology, the Lantern outdoor were brightest light with longest battery life and many options that the fuel Lantern powered old-style might never have.

Outdoor tools

Finally to add to the complete set of camping gear, there are the tools of the trade. It’s the ax or hatchet, compact excavators, rope and then all other pieces of equipment that apply to the type of camping.

While we do not speak of survival camping here, entitled camping equipment and supplies will be pleasant trip, not something to endure.

As the shadows lengthen and the lazy old sun rests a while behind the mountain top it's time to light the camp?

Oregon fall Camping – what you need to know

Posted by Filed Under Rechargeable Camping Lantern with No Comments

We all love a family camping in the summer trip. Make us plans to achieve our favourite camping destination where you can fish, swim, and sit around a campfire in the evening. Summer is the first time for holiday camping. Either people think.

Couples more take camping trips in the fall months to enjoy camping, smaller crowds and more cool weather costs. Many camping sites to reduce their expense after labour day, making the fall less expensive than camping camping, summer savings particularly pleasant during the economic current. Because the school has started, there are less children and teenagers camping in the fall, campgrounds a little quieter for young and less young couples to have a trip of relaxation and perhaps romantic. Nights are often cool, providing the perfect opportunity to snuggle under a warm blanket with a friend or a loved one. In addition, the landscape during the fall cannot be beaten. The Greens of summer turn into yellow, orange and Red dynamic.

Fall camping requires two additional planning elements not necessarily considered in preparation for a summer camping trip.

1 Pack more heavy clothing and bedding: the days can be sunny and warm, but night temperatures can drop quickly and significantly. Pack for the unexpected. If you think a sweatshirt should be sufficient for your trip, you should probably make two.

2 Check the weather models where you will be camping: to prepare for possible changes in the weather. The fall is more volatile than the course of the summer. Pack of rain or snow gear even if the forecast calls for the blue of the sky.

Other supplies do not have to change much of your traditional summer camping trip. Your camping packs must include still lot of food in sealed containers, fully stocked first aid kit and essential camping, as supplies the matches, flashlights, lanterns, plastic sheeting, rope and wood for heating.

Fall Camping Destinations

I am partial towards the Northwest for camping and hiking in the open air. There are a large number of campgrounds open in Oregon and Washington throughout the year, perfect for camping in the fall.

1 Castle Rock Campground: Castle Rock campground in the Siuslaw national forest located in three rivers, offers fishing and camping and is open throughout the year.

2 Detroit Lake: located in the heart of the Oregon Cascades, Detroit Lake offers a number of campsites throughout the year and hiking, fishing, pleasure boating and other outdoor activities.

3 Coast of Washington: for exceptional coastal camping, visit Cape Disappointment, Pacific Beach or Twin Harbors, throughout the year.

4 Of Cape Blanco State Park: this park located on the Oregon coast offers miles of coastal walks, tours of Lighthouse and extra large campsites, private and protected.

For more information on campgrounds throughout the year in your area, go to www.oregonstateparks.org or www.parks.wa.gov

Camping in the fall, it is an easy way to enjoy a weekend of three days in the open air. Simply take a few extra precautions during your camping trip planning by providing some additional supplies and know the region in which you will be staying. These simple steps will make any holiday camping in the fall, either in the Northwest and beyond, a pleasant excursion.
